1947 – 2015

TAMPA, Fla. — Claire Poulin, 68, passed away Monday, March 9, at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Fla., after a long and courageous battle with leukemia.

Claire was born in Lewiston on Feb. 25, 1947, a daughter of Roland and Theresa Vachon. She had worked at Billen Shoe Co., in Lewiston and at Harder Hall Golf Course in Florida.

She married Roger Poulin on April 29, 1983, and they lived in Sebring, Fla., for many happy years.

Claire is survived by her husband, Roger; one daughter, Terry and companion, Paul; stepchildren, Roger Jr., Terri, Tricia and Tina; grandchildren, Tristan, Sheldon and Stevanie; one nephew, Derek; nine stepgrandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; an aunt and many cousins; two sisters, Pauline Wilder and spouse, Sid, and Irene Lavertu and spouse, Richard; and many special friends in Maine and Florida.

She was predeceased by her parents, grandparents, one stepgrandchild and many aunts and uncles.

Claire will be forever loved and missed by all.
