AUBURN — The Maine Department of Transportation will “Talk Transportation” regarding all types of transportation issues during 40 public meetings this month.

Public input will help MDOT staff understand the needs of the public and various stakeholders in formulating an assessment detailing system needs for 20 years, with particular emphasis on the next decade.

The meetings will allow MDOT to inform the public about its activities and programs while obtaining information regarding any immediate concerns or needs from the participants.

Local meetings are:

Auburn: Monday, March 23, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Androscoggin Valley Council Governments office, 125 Manley Road.

Farmington: Wednesday, March 25, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., University of Maine-Farmington North Dining Hall, 111 South St.

Mexico: Thursday, March 26, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Town Office, 134 Main St.
