Polar Bears Club annual meeting, election

RUMFORD — The Rumford Polar Bears Snowmobile Club will hold its annual meeting and election of officers at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at Sam’s Restaurant on Route 2.

During the meeting, nominations from the floor will be accepted for the offices of president, vice president, treasurer, secretary and trail master. All members are invited.

Benefit for Lynn Soucy Richardson

RUMFORD — A benefit for Lynn Soucy Richardson will be held Saturday, March 28 at the Rumford Eagles. Come out to help Lynn fight cancer.

Doors open at 5 p.m. A spaghetti dinner will be served from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

A Chinese auction drawing will take place at 8 p.m.

Music by Sean Doringsfeld will be performed from 8 p.m. to midnight.

Rumford Seniors plan bus trips

RUMFORD — Rumford Seniors Of Peru are having a bus going to Bangor Slots on Friday, April 10. The cost is $30.

The group is also having a bus on Thursday, May 14, to Boston Market Square. Cost is $50.
