CPR, first aid class in Oxford
OXFORD — A CPR and first aid class will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Oxford Public Safety Building.
Instruction will include basic first aid, CPR for adults, children and infants and use of an automated external defibrillator.
On completion of the one-day class, a two-year certification in accordance with the American Heart Association will be given. The certification is accepted for day/childcare providers, loggers, guides, teachers and any other non-healthcare related professions.
Call to confirm the date. Groups may request to schedule a class at their convenience. Healthcare BLS CPR recertifications are done as needed one-on-one.
The next scheduled class will be April 18.

Sunrise service on Easter Sunday
WATERFORD/STONEHAM — On Easter Sunday, April 5, the churches of Oxford County United Parish (North Waterford and East Stoneham) will join the members of the Waterford Congregational Church, under the leadership of Rev. Petra Smythe, for a sunrise service at the Town Beach at Keoka Lake, Route 35 in Waterford Flat, followed by breakfast at the Wilkins House.
Easter services will be held at 10 a.m. at the North Waterford Church, Route 35 opposite Melby’s. All are welcome.
