Free community supper is March 20

NORWAY — The Second Congregational Church, 205 Main St., will have its monthly Free Community Supper from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday, March 20.

This month’s menu features macaroni and cheese, baked bean, hot dogs, garlic bread, beverages and desserts by Bruce. Everybody is welcome to come, eat and socialize.

OCEA-R meeting date changed

PARIS — The Oxford County Educators Association-Retired will not meet in March.

Originally, the first meeting of the year was scheduled for March 20. Because of difficulties with scheduling, the March meeting has been cancelled and the first meeting of 2015 will be on April 7 at the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.

The meeting will be on a Tuesday, which is not the usual Friday date. Members need to remember the change in the day and the date.

The meal will be served by the culinary arts students at the school. Sign-ins will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Easter egg hunt at West Paris Library

WEST PARIS — The Friends of the Library will sponsor an Easter Egg Hunt for West Paris toddlers through first-graders at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 4, at the Library. 

Baskets for collecting the eggs are available if a child does not have one. The children should be accompanied by an adult.

There will be a gift for each child, in addition to the Easter eggs found during the hunt. The lucky finder of one marked egg will receive a special prize. The festivities will conclude with a story and a craft.
