1949 – 2015
LEWISTON — Louise R. Dubois, 65, of Lewiston passed away Wednesday, March 18, at Central Maine Medical Center, following a short illness, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Lewiston on July 10, 1949, a daughter of Raymond and Theresa (Cloutier) Bernier. She grew up in the area and attended local schools, including St. Mary’s.
On Oct. 10, 1970, she married Bertrand Dubois at St. Mary’s Church in Lewiston. Together, the two of them raised two beautiful children.
Louise will always be remembered for her love of going to the casino, especially playing the slot machines, knitting, bird-watching and spending time with her grandchildren and her beloved pets.
She is survived by her two children, Jamie Dubois and his wife, Tina, of Lewiston, and Donna Perry and her husband, Wilbur, of Richmond. She also leaves behind her siblings, Lucille Zaleski, Pauline Plourde, Diane Gilpatrick, Roger Bernier, Robert Bernier and Doris Nadeau; as well as her sister-in-law, Diane Bailey; and brothers-in-law, Roger and Bob Dubois. Louise will always be remembered by her grandchildren, Douglas R. Leblanc Jr., Courtney, Jacob and Annarose Dubois, and Katlyn and Joshua Swan; as well as many nieces and nephews.
