LEWISTON — A memorable series of short films for and about people with developmental and intellectual disabilities, including autism, will be shown at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 15 at the Franco Heritage Center, 46 Cedar St., Lewiston.

“These entertaining short films offer insight into the lives and abilities of people living with autism and other developmental and intellectual disabilities,” said Spurwink President Eric Meyer.

The showing is part of the 5th Annual Spurwink “Sprout Touring Film Festival” showing in venues across Maine in honor of April being Autism Awareness Month.

Admission is free for all screenings and donations are accepted gratefully.
