1923 – 2015
ENFIELD, Conn.—Elizabeth J. Prince, 92, of Enfield, Conn., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 24, at Parkway Pavilion.
She was born on March 15, 1923, in Minot, the daughter of the late Arthur and Alzada (Cooley) Gove. Elizabeth was raised in Mechanic Falls and had lived in Enfield since 1952.
She was employed for Casual Corner for 15 years, retiring in 1988.
Elizabeth enjoyed sewing and traveling, especially taking day trips. She really loved caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Elizabeth is survived by her six children, Mary St. Louis of Olde Town, Carl Prince of Enfield, Conn., Carol Reyome of Enfield, Conn., Patricia Semanie of Feeding Hills, Mass., Caroline Prince of Enfield, Conn., and Royce Prince of East Hampton, Conn.; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Dottie Lebria, Dina Self and Pauline Cox.
She was predeceased by a son, Raymond Fortier; two brothers, Bobby and Teddy; and two sisters.
