CASCO — Holy Week 2015 at the Casco Village Church United Church of Christ, 941 Meadow Road (Route 121) in Casco, will begin with Palm/Passion Sunday at 10 a.m. on Sunday, March 29, with choir singing and palms swaying.
The same evening, the church will show the movie “Jesus Christ Superstar” at 5:30 p.m. in the Great Hall.
Maundy Thursday Service will start at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, in the sanctuary.
The Good Friday Hunger Walk begins early at 5:30 a.m. on Friday, April 3.
Good Friday at noon is the beginning of a 24-hour Holy Vigil in the Sanctuary.
A DayBreak Service for Easter sunrise will begin at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 5, Easter Sunday Morning, behind the church overlooking Pleasant Lake.
The DayBreak Service will be followed by Easter Breakfast at 7 a.m. by the Easter Breakfast cooked and served by the CVC Men.
Worship at 10 a.m. for a Celebrational Easter Service with a choir, trumpets and an Easter egg surprise.
