Papermakers celebration needs help

JAY — The committee organizing the Maine Papermakers and Wood Products Celebration is in need of volunteers who enjoy organizing, playing horseshoes, watching people run and just plain having fun.

The group will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 2, in the lower level of the Otis Mill. Pizza and soda will be provided.

The committee is also looking for local food and craft vendors, nonprofit organizations and businesses to sell or show off wares at the celebration. If you have any questions or want to help but cannot make it to the meeting, contact Sherry Judd at 207-592-1807.
