MEXICO — The Police Department responded to a record 222 incidents in March, and 11 in April as of Thursday morning. They include the following:
* A Middle Avenue resident reported at 9:50 p.m. March 29 that a visitor stole $1,000 cash. Police Chief Roy Hodsdon said Thursday that police are waiting to interview a suspect.
* A Roxbury Road resident reported at 2:52 p.m. March 29 that they returned home to find someone had taken $600 worth of carpentry power tools from a vehicle and a remote-control, gas-powered car valued at $1,500. There are no suspects. The case remains under investigation.
