LEWISTON — Lewiston Public Schools kindergarten registration and screening will take place on Friday, May 8, at the following schools by appointment.

• Martel: 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., 795-4130

• Farwell: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., 795-4110

• Geiger: 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., 795-4160

• McMahon: 8:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., 795-4140

• Longley: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., 795-4120

• Montello: 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., 795-4150

Children eligible for registration must be five years old by Oct. 15, 2015. Registration requires a certified birth certificate, I-94 or green card for children born outside the U.S., immunization records and proof of residence, and the child must be present at registration.

Students attending Pre-K in Lewiston Public Schools do not have to register for kindergarten.
