LEWISTON — The National Federation of the Blind of Maine will host a Bowl with the Blind bowl-athon from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 3, at Sparetime Recreation, 24 Mollison Way.
To participate individuals will be asked to raise a minimum of $25; a team of four, a minimum of $100.
Two games of bowling and shoe rentals will be included. The winning team will receive a night of pins, pizza and Pepsi for six.
There will be door prizes, a 50/50 raffle and lunch specials.
The goal is to raise $1,000 or more. Proceeds will support Maine programs such as Parents division and Students division and to help affiliate members to attend national conventions and Washington seminars.
