WILTON — A memorial celebration of life for Herbert E. West was held on Tuesday, March 24, at 6 p.m. at the First Apostolic Church in Wilton. The service was officiated by the Rev. Sharon Walston and heartfelt remembrances were shared by all. In memory of Herbert’s love of gardening, all in attendance received a plant. Interment with full military honors will take place at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 20, at the new Maine Veterans’ Cemetery in Augusta. Cremation services are being cared for by Wiles Remembrance Centers in Wilton.
