JAY — A memorial celebration of life for Robert E. “Bob” Metcalf was celebrated on Thursday, March 26, at 1 p.m. at Wiles Remembrance Center in Jay. The service was officiated by the Rev. John Gensel from the Dixfield Congregational Church. Scripture reading was recited by Bonnie Mardosa (sister) and heartfelt remembrances and stories were shared by Dale Metcalf (brother), Ben Bowie (cousin), as well as other friends. All were invited to a comfort reception held at Le Fleur’s Restaurant in Jay. Interment will take place at a later date in the spring at Birchland Cemetery in North Jay. Cremation services are being cared for and provided by Wiles Remembrance Center in Jay.
