MEXICO — The Stephens High School Class of 1954 will hold its class luncheon at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, at Dick’s Restaurant. All classmates, spouses, significant others and friends are welcome.

MEXICO — Mexico High School Class of 1958 will meet for class luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 16, at the House of Pizza. Spouses and significant others are welcome.

National Poetry Month celebrated at library

RUMFORD — The Rumford Public Library will celebrate National Poetry Month during their fourth Thursday meeting from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 23.

Writers may share their own poetry or attendees may share a poem they like.

Maine Caregiver 1 training offered

RUMFORD — SeniorsPlus has announced that Savvy Caregiver 1 training will be offered in Oxford county from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesdays for six weeks, from April 28 through June 2, at the Rumford Armory.

If you are caring for a family member with dementia, this training will help you learn how to take care of yourself, reduce stress and also communicate more easily with your loved one.
