Jeannette L. Labbe

1920-2015

Jeannette L. Labbe, 95, a resident of Livermore Falls, and longtime summer resident of Long Pond in Livermore, passed away, Tuesday, April 7, 2015, with her family by her side.

She was born in Livermore Falls on Jan. 29, 1920, the daughter of Raoul N. Duguay and Delvina (Cote) Duguay. She graduated from Jay High School in 1938. On July 23, 1939, she married Wilfred Labbe at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay. They were married for 54 years before he passed away on April 21, 1993.

Jeannette worked as a bookkeeper for Bill’s Chevron for 13 years and was also a devoted homemaker. She was a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church, a member of the Daughters of Isabella, St. John de Baptiste, Saint Anne, George Bunten Post American Legion Auxillary, Jay/Livermore Falls Senior Citizens, and former president of the VFW Auxillary in Jay, Maine.

She is survived by her two sons; David Labbe of Jay, and Donald Labbe of Livermore Falls, one sister, Doris Ouellette of Livermore Falls, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, husband, and her brother, Adelard “Duds” Labbe. A Mass of Christian burial was held at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 9th at St. Rose of Lima Church, 1 Church St., Jay, Maine. Visitation was held on Wednesday 3-7 p.m. The Daughters of Isabella met at 5:30 p.m. Arrangements made by FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church St., Livermore Falls, ME 04254. Interment later in the spring at Holy Cross Cemetery, 445 Park St., Livermore Falls, Maine.

Terry M. White

1945-2015

Terry M. White, 70, a resident of Rocky Road in Jay, passed away very unexpectedly, at his home, Monday, April 6th.

He was born on April 6, 1945, in Portland, Maine, the son of Reginald L. White and Hazel (Webster) White. Terry graduated from Wilton Academy in 1963. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Terry worked for International Paper Company for 43 years and retired from Verso Androscoggin in 2010. He was a member of the Quarter Century Club at International Paper Company and also a member of the VFW Frank L. Mitchell Post 3335 and Amvets Lane-Dube Post 33 both in Jay.

Terry was a very fun loving and generous person. He enjoyed playing golf, bowling and riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by one son, Todd Perkins and wife Angelina of Jay, one daughter, Shelley Perkins of Farmington, best friend, Nancy Couture, sisters; Bonnie Strout of Livermore Falls and Linda Neuschwanger and her husband Jim of East Wilton, one brother, Brian White and his significant other, Erna of Jay, two grandchildren, Tyler Sergio and Tanner Bessey, his granddogger “Boudie”, former wife, Valerie White of Bonita Spring, FL, and many nieces and nephews. White – Died Monday, April 6, 2015 in Jay, Maine. Terry M. White, 70, of Jay, Maine. Funeral services with Full Military Honors were held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 10th at FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church St., Livermore Falls, Maine. Visitation was held from 11-1 p.m., prior to the funeral. Military members met at the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. Interment will be in the spring at Lakeview Cemetery, Wilton, Maine.
