Students and staff at Lisbon Community School hosted visiting artist Clint Fulkerson of Portland on April 8. Fulkerson has recently exhibited at the Portland Museum of Art, Endicott College, University of Maine Farmington, and other galleries in Maine and New York. He spent the entire day on the elementary school campus, talking with students in every grade level and sharing his experiences as an artist. Fulkerson worked with students to create drawings using tape on the gymnasium floor, concluding the day with a spectacular collaborative piece of artwork. The program was funded by the LCS Parent Teacher Organization. Assistance throughout the day was provided by members of the Lisbon Volunteer Program.
