1931 – 2015

AUBURN —  Annette D. Pelletier, 83, of Auburn, peacefully passed away Thursday, April 16, at Clover Health Care, with her daughter, Cassandra, by her side. Annette resided at Clover Health Care the past three years.

She was born in Lewiston on Oct. 23, 1931, daughter of the late Eleodore and Marie Blanche McKeone Carrier. She married Albert M. Pelletier in 1953 and celebrated their 40th anniversary before Albert passed away in 1993.

Together, they owned and operated Carpet Center on Lisbon Street in Lewiston and retired in 1987.

Annette was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish and a member of Ladies of St. Anne, the church choir and numerous church groups. She will be remembered for her lifetime of dedication to the church, her faith and her family. She will be remembered for helping those who were less fortunate.

She enjoyed several hobbies, including reading, traveling, gardening, canning, knitting and sewing. Annette loved taking family vacations throughout the Midwest, Canada, Europe and many tropical adventures.

She is survived by her three daughters, Cassandra Armstrong and her companion, Peter Parker, of Minot, Karen Brochu and husband, Pierre, of Ottawa, Ontario, and Kathleen Wakefield of Biddeford; grandchildren, Travis, Megan and Jamie Wakefield, Gabrielle and Melanie Brochu and Carson Armstrong; two brothers, Bernard and wife, Shirley Carrier, of Lewiston, Julien and wife, Eliza Carrier, of Florida; sister-in-law, Noella Carrier of Minnesota.

She was also predeceased by her two daughters, Maureen and Rosalind; and brother, Leonile Carrier.

The family wishes to thank the amazing staff at Clover Health Care and Beacon hospice, and all of Annette’s friends and family who loved her throughout her wonderful life.
