1920 – 2015

AUBURN — Lucienne I. Aubut, 94, of 440 Minot Ave., Auburn, died peacefully early Wednesday morning, April 15, at Clover Health Care.

She was born in Lewiston on Dec, 29, 1920, the daughter of the late Francois and Delia (Landry) Albert. She had been a resident of this community all of her life.

She married Fernand E. Aubut on April 17, 1948; and he died on Jan. 13, 1984.

She was employed in the local textile industry for many years until her retirement. Lucienne enjoyed gardening, sewing and knitting and enjoyed helping out her daughter with running her daycare business.

She was a parishioner of Holy Cross Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Pauline Townes and her husband, Robert, of Lewiston; two grandchildren, Jennifer Morin of Lewiston and Cheryl Morin and her husband, Denis, of Lewiston; four great-grandchildren, Joseph, Dylan, Mason and Brianna Morin, all of Lewiston; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by four sisters and five brothers.

The family wishes to thank Clover Health Care, Dr. Seth Gordon, Dr. Thomas Hattan and the Beacon Hospice for all the care they have given to Lucienne.
