JAY – The April 19th 10:30 a.m. morning service at Jay Baptist Church was led by Mr. Matthew Beaudette, whose message was entitled “Addicted to the Ministry.”  The theme of the message was established in I Corinthians 16:15 wherein we read of Stephanas and his family, who were the first to become Christians in Greece, and who devoted their whole life to helping and serving Christians everywhere they went, also called the ministry of the saints.  Along with the hymns and choruses of the service, the choir sang “There Will Never Be Another Jesus,” and for special music, Mavis Fitch sang the hymn “Ten Thousand Angels,” which tells the story of Christ’s suffering and sacrifice leading up to His death on the cross where salvation’s wondrous plan was completed.

Day Bible study is held at Dot White’s every Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. On Wednesday, choir rehearsal is held at 6:00 p.m., followed by Bible Study and Prayer Time at 7:00 p.m. Coffee Hour will be held next Sunday, April 26, from 9:15 to 10:15  a.m. in the vestry.
