LEWISTON — Tri-County Mental Health Services was awarded the 2015 Maine Quality Counts Patient Partnership Award by Maine Quality Counts. The award was presented at the Augusta Civic Center.
The Maine Quality Counts Patient Partnership Award recognizes Tri-County Mental Health Services for its commitment to ensuring that consumers, patients and families are involved in improving health care quality and patient experience of care. Tri-County was selected for the award based on its consumer collaboration efforts, and its creativity and risk-taking in engaging consumers, patients, and families in Maine health care transformation.
Tri-County Mental Health Services serves more than 8,000 individuals each year in Androscoggin, Cumberland, Franklin, York, Kennebec, Sagadahoc and Oxford counties. Its innovative programs and services address mental health, substance abuse, developmental disabilities and autism.
