OXFORD — The Oxford Congregational Church on 252 King St. will host a Bible-based workshop on Saturday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The workshop will be led by Rev. Darren Morgan, minister for Small Church Development, Maine Conference UCC. The theme of the workshop will lead to the future of the church — where it is, where it will be in five years, in 10 years and how it can best serve the community. All members and friends of the church, past and present, are invited to attend, participate and express their ideas and opinions as the church goes forward seeking to better serve the community needs. Whether you can attend for all, or a short time, you are welcome, anytime between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The church is honored that many in the community consider this church to be their church. Some attend regularly, some sparingly or not at all. Still, all are considered friends of the church. Your ideas are important so come and share. Lunch will be provided. For more information, call Barbara at 539-4771 or John at 539-2902.
