SugarWood Gallery, 248 Broadway, Farmington, will host an open house for the students of Joyce Dubay as May’s Artists of the Month. An open house reception is set for 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, May 1 and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, May 2.   Students’ work will remain on exhibit and available for sale during the month of May. An artist for most of her life, Dubay, pictured above,  is currently an art instructor at Adult Ed in Farmington, providing instruction in drawing, watercolor and oil painting. She has been instructing for 2o years.  Store hours are 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.,  Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
