AUBURN — The Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments is offering a two-hour workshop on what it takes to start a business.

The workshop will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon on three different dates: Tuesday, April 28; Wednesday, May 20; and Wednesday, June 24, at AVCOG, 125 Manley Road, Auburn.

A Maine SBDC business counselor will cover all aspects of owning a business, including the steps needed to get started and connections to the many resources available in the area. Among the topics to be discussed will be licensing or certification questions, financing questions and business plan suggestions.
