LEWISTON —The Maine Educational Opportunity Center will be hosting free workshops, “Essentials of College Planning,” at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 7, and again on two Wednesdays, May 13 and 27, at the Lewiston CareerCenter, 5 Mollison Way. The workshops are for adults 19 years of age or older.

The workshops will also be offered at 10 a.m. on two Mondays, May 4 and 18, at the Western Maine University and Community College Center, 232 Main St., Paris.

The Essentials of College Planning, is an interactive workshop that outlines the four steps in the college process: admissions, financial aid, career planning, and study skills. The workshop lasts approximately 2-3 hours. Pre-registration is required.
