I also have a question for Sun Spots in regards to the “TV Watchers Guide” that appears in the last section of the Sun Journal. Eight channels are listed. The seventh channel is listed as MNT. My channel lineup, supplied by Time Warner Cable, has a list of over 200 channels and I cannot locate anything that comes close to that MNT listing.

With your ability in finding answers to the many questions you receive, I’ll be looking forward to see what you come up with. I’m sure other people are also curious as to what MNT stands for. Thanks again for all that you do for your readers.

States that do not have a column like yours do not know what they are missing out on. — No Name in Lewiston.

ANSWER: Sun Spots has learned that MNT is WPME “MyNetworkTV” on channel 3 or channel 1215.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I am looking for a children’s swing set for my grandchildren. If anyone has a swing set in good condition and are no longer using it, I would be willing to pick it up so that my grandchildren can enjoy it while my wife babysits them during the day at our house. You can call me at 207-577-7424. — No Name in Lewiston.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Can tabs is the question. The Masons and Eastern Star are involved with this program. In Oxford County, who takes care of these tabs? I know many people would save these tabs if they knew the story that goes with them. I know the proceeds from the sale of these tabs support the Shriners Hospital in Springfield, Mass. Thank you for all you do to help people who need your support. I am not a Mason or Shriner. — No Name in Rumford.

ANSWER: Call the Kora Shriners at 207-782-6831 or visit www.korashriners.org/.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Earlier this month we learned about the theft of thousands of dollars in copper power wire that are used to distribute electricity at Lewiston/Auburn’s Great Falls Balloon Festival.

Initially, we set up a GoFundMe page to collect donations online. We have received numerous inquiries from people wishing to make donations by mail or in person, rather than online. Festival fans wishing to help out can mail to: Great Falls Balloon Festival, P.O. Box 1238, Auburn ME 04211. Or, stop by the following locations to make a donation in person: Ness Oil, 249 Washington Street, Auburn; Reeder Chiropractic, 625 Main Street, Lewiston; and John F. Murphy Homes, 800 Center Street, Auburn.

Thank you! — The Great Falls Balloon Festival committee.
