1941 – 2015
AUBURN — Viola A. Morris, 73, a resident of Turner, passed away at Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice on Thursday, April 23.
She was born in Turner on May 10, 1941, the daughter of Bruce Smith and Viola May (McGlenchy) Smith. She was educated in Turner schools. On July 31, 1965, she married Raymond R. Morris Sr. in East Auburn. He passed away on Dec. 6, 1999. Viola worked as a medical technician at Greene Acres Manor in Greene.
She is survived by her one daughter, Tina Crowley and her husband, Bill, of Lewiston; two sons, Lloyd Morris of Turner and Raymond Morris Jr. and his wife, Janelle, of North Turner; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Kenneth Morris and his wife, Pam, of North Turner, Lorraine Comarie and her husband, Daniel, of Turner and Patty Boldic and her husband, Rene, of Greene; one sister, Mary Ellen Rose and her companion, Eric Quimby, of North Turner; and one daughter-in-law, Carol Morris.
She was predeceased by two grandchildren, Riley Davis and Gavlin Morris; and stepson, Larry “Mike” Morris.
