HARRISON — Friends of the Harrison Village Library will hold its first meeting of the year at 7 p.m. Monday, May 4.

All library lovers are welcome to join this group, which supports the library with volunteer work as well as fundraising.

The library will again host a Science Trunk, exploratory activities created by Cornerstones of Science.

This month’s program, Butterflies & Bugs, provides an opportunity to learn about insects, metamorphosis and migration. The program will be offered twice, at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, for home schooled students, and at 4 p.m. Monday, May 11 for all students.

Popular naturalist Chris Lewey returns at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 7, for Spring Birding. All levels of expertise are welcome to this presentation.
