RUMFORD — The Rumford Senior Citizens have listed the schedule of events from April 27 through May.

The Rumford Senior Citizens will be closed from Monday, April 27, to Friday, May 1. There will be no bingo.

Rumford Senior citizens at Peru will have bingo at 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning in May.

The Citizens are planning a trip to Boston Thursday, May 14. Places and activities citizens can see or do include the aquarium, trolley rides, boat rides, Quincy Market and many restaurants. Bus will leave from Peru at 7:30 a.m. and return at 8 p.m. Cost to attend is $50 for members and $60 for non-members. Deadline for sign up is Tuesday, May 5.

The Citizens will host a Mothers Day Tea at 2 p.m. Friday, May 8, at the Peru Elementary School on Main Street. The tea will include entertainment.

The Citizens will have luncheon at noon Monday, May 18. The cost is $5 for members, $7 for non-members.

Citizens in Peru will have a members’ meeting at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 28. Following the meeting at 11:30 a.m. will be a pot luck luncheon and bingo at 12:30 p.m.
