Comedy Night at Guthrie’s, hosted by The Portland Comedy Co-op, returns at  8 p.m., Thursday, May 7, with a lineup of Maine and New England’s best up-and-coming comedians. Comedian Brad Howe will close out the show.  Howe, based in New York City, is originally from Massachusetts, and  began performing stand-up comedy while attending the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He has developed original and small-town characters into his routine. In 2013, Howe performed his first one man show, “Stand-Up Fitchburg,” showcasing various original New England characters in a show about the lessons of stand-up comedy. The host for the night will be Aharon Willows of the Portland Comedy Co-op. Admission is free, though donations are welcome. She Doesn’t Like Guthries is at 115 Middle St., Lewiston. The show is open to all ages, though 18 and up is definitely recommended. More information is available at https://www.facebook.com/comeseecomedy or [email protected]
