The city of Old Town will be holding its annual spring clean-up from May 4-15.
During these dates the public works department wiil collect only white goods and bulky furniture at no cost.
White goods are defined as stoves, refrigerators, freezers, AC units, washers, dryers and dishwashers. Doors must be removed from all refrigerators and freezers. All white goods must have a city issued appliance disposal sticker affixed. Appliance stickers can be purchased at city hall.
Bulky furniture is defined as box springs and mattresses, dining tables and chairs, stuffed chairs and sofas.
Free access passes to the transfer station for Old Town residents may be obtained at city hall during th dates above. All regular transfer station fees will apply. You will need to bring in your vehicle registration to acquire a pass.
Items left curbside will be pikced up automoatically.You may alert the Public Woks Department of a pickup at 827-3974 provided it falls within the dates above.
Hours at the Old Town Recycling Center are Thursday-Saturday, 7 a.m.-3 p.m.
