1944 – 2015

LEWISTON — Carole Ann (Long) Lemieux, 71, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 19, in Lewiston.

She was born on Feb. 9, 1944, in Lewiston and was a lifelong resident of the Lewiston-Auburn area. She graduated from Edward Little High School in 1962. In 1967, she married Jos. Edward Omer Lemieux.

Carole worked in the textile industry, as well as many retail stores in the area. She attended Andover Business College and received a Bachelor of Arts in computer sciences. She later worked in insurance offices and her last occupation was a direct care provider for Alternative Services.

She was a member of Eastern Star, Pine Cone Chapter.

Carole was predeceased by her husband in 1971.

She is survived by one sister, Maryland Grant of Ocala, Fla.; two brothers, James M. Long of North Waterford, and Robert Long of Monmouth.
