LEWISTON — The U.S. Postal Service will hold 23rd annual National Association of Letter Carriers Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive Saturday, May 9.
Residents who participate in the drive may leave a non-perishable food donations in a bag by their mailboxes, and USPS letter carriers will collect the items to donate to a local food pantry. In Lewiston, the donations will be given to the Good Shepherd Food Bank.
In 2014, the drive collected more than 72 million pounds of food nationally, feeding an estimated 30 million people.
