Volunteers sought to help with Scribner’s Mill field trip programs
HARRISON — Scribner’s Mill is seeking volunteers to assist with field trips made to the mill.
Each spring and fall, Scribner’s Mill shares its early industrial and social history with hands-on activities for students learning about local history. New volunteers will shadow an experienced group leader to learn the history and hands-on activity shared with the students.
At present field trips are being offered to third and fifth grade students. As this program grows to other school districts, additional volunteers will be needed to fill the demand.
