WILTON — Police said a Jay man was arrested Thursday after an investigation into a heroin overdose at Arkay Trailer Park in Wilton.

Jacob Roy, 21, was arrested on a felony charge of aggravated furnishing heroin, Wilton police Chief Heidi Wilcox said.

Sgt. Chad Abbott responded to a call of a suspected overdose on March 26 which resulted in serious injury to Roy and another man, she said. Both were taken to Franklin Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Roy was arrested Thursday after police were able to locate him in the Oxford County town of Woodstock, where he was staying at a residence, she said. The Oxford County Sheriff’s Department helped locate and arrest him. Abbott brought him back, she added.

Roy bailed from Franklin County Detention Center in Farmington later Thursday on $500 cash.
