This regards LD 652, Sen. Eric Brakey’s bill which would eliminate the requirement for concealed weapons permits.
If this bill passes, will we:
• Feel safer in a bar near closing time?
• Feel safer at the towing company where people pick up their vehicles?
• Feel safer at public events such as the balloon festival or Fourth of July?
• Feel safer on New Year’s Eve?
• Feel safer as a police officer making a traffic stop?
• Feel safer in our places of work? Or houses of worship?
This isn’t about Second Amendment rights — America is the most free nation on Earth.
Legislators must stop this insanity and defeat this extremely bad idea.
What is this — the wild, wild, west?
