HIRAM — The theft and vandalism of four cars in the Hiram and Brownfield area has the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office looking for answers.
According to WGME, all four cars were located, including two in the Saco River off Route 113 on Sunday. Each vehicle was deemed a total loss. The third car was found burned out and the fourth was also damaged.
Police say in all four cases, the owners left their keys in the cars, and are urging people in the area to remove their keys and lock up.
Police believe the cases are connected and, as of Sunday night, no arrests have been made.
