JAY — On Saturday, May 2 the Daughters of Isabella Circle 677 from St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay held their Annual Yard Sale.
The day began at 7 a.m. with the Daughters getting everything ready for the crowd to enter at 8 a.m. The coffee was brewing and the homemade donuts were on the counter to be sold. All the tables were full of treasures that people were looking for.
The book tables had many different books to choose from, including love stories, mysteries, drama, and many more. The children’s area was filled with stuffed animals, toys, reading books and coloring books. The Rada knives table was set up with any different knives, spatula’s biscuit cutters to be sold.
The food table was full of homemade breads, cookies, cakes, cupcakes, homemade caramels, rosemary olive oil bread, and many more delicious items to eat. Lynn Mercier won the raffle of the kayak.
