AUGUSTA – More than 3,100 college students are scheduled to graduate from Maine’s seven community colleges at commencement exercises around the state this month. The graduates join 26,000 others who have earned their degrees at a Maine community college over the past decade.
Speakers at this year’s commencement exercises, as well as the times, dates, and locations are as follows:
Saturday, May 9: Eastern Maine Community College, Bangor, 10 a.m. (449 graduates)
Speaker: Elaine Rosen, Chair of the Kresge Foundation, Board Member of The Foundation for Maine’s Community Colleges
Location: Cross Insurance Center, Bangor
Thursday, May 14: Central Maine Community College, Auburn, 6 p.m. (527 graduates)
Speaker: Rick Malinowski, External Relations Manager & Site HR Manager Procter and Gamble/Tambrands
Location: Androscoggin Bank Colisée, Lewiston
Friday, May 15: Washington County Community College, Calais, 11 a.m. (153 graduates)
Speaker: Colonel Diane Dunn, Brigade Commander, 120th Regional Support Group, Maine Army National Guard

Saturday, May 16: Kennebec Valley Community College, Fairfield/Hinckley, 10 a.m. (427 graduates)

Northern Maine Community College, Presque Isle, 10 a.m. (251 graduates)
