Mother’s Day service at First Universalist Church

PARIS — Silver Moore-Leamon will lead the worship service on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10, at the First Universalist Church on Pine Street.

Music for the 10 a.m. service will be under the direction of Donna Hurd, and Sunday School is under the direction of Renee Wales. Coffee and fellowship will follow the worship service and all are welcome. Childcare is available, and the First Universalist Church is wheelchair accessible.

Grace Fellowship sale to benefit bible school

OXFORD — The Grace Fellowship Church of Oxford will hold its annual indoor yard sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, May 15, and Saturday, May 16, at 29 Poplar St.

Proceeds from the sale will support the Vcation Bible School.

Wilkins House yard sale May 16

WATERFORD — An indoor yard sale will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 16, at the Wilkins House on Plummer Hill Road.

Household items, books, toys, puzzles, games and baby items will be for sale.

All proceeds benefit the Wilkins House and the Church.

St. Catherine’s to hold rummage sale

NORWAY — The Youth Ministry of St. Catherine’s Church will hold a a rummage sale from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 16, in the parish hall at 32 Paris St.

The sale will include a selection of summer clothing and white elephant items.

The earnings will support World Youth Day to be held in Krakow, Poland, in 2016.

Minot United Methodist Church to hold bake sale

MINOT — The Minot United Methodist Church, located at corner of Route 121 and Empire Road, will offer free coffee and treats along with a bake sale at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, May 17.

Christian Women United to host luncheon

PARIS — Christian Women United will have a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, at First Congregational Church, 17 East Main St.

Sammie Angel of Dixfield will sing.
