GREENE — Amanda Leigh Rines, 25, of Greene, died early Saturday morning, May 9, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

She was born in Lewiston on Nov. 28, 1989, the daughter of Christine Pelletier and Andrew Rines.

She attended local schools and was a graduate of Oak Hill High School, Class of 2008.

Amanda was currently employed at TD Bank in the mortgage department.

She was an avid animal lover, enjoyed the outdoors, including fishing, ice fishing, boating, four wheeling, snowmobiling and was an auto racing fan.

She also enjoyed being with her family and her many close friends.

Amanda is survived by her mother, Christine Plourde and her husband, Jeffrey, of Sabattus; her father, Andrew Rines and his wife, Celeste, of Turner; her boyfriend and the love of her life, with whom she made her home, John Fortin, of Greene, and his parents, Bebe and Louis Fortin, of Greene; her maternal great-grandmother, Fernande Chouinard; her maternal grandmother, Constance Pelletier; her maternal grandfather, Ronald Pelletier, all of Lewiston; three brothers, Sam Rines, Owen and Sawyer Plourde; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
