Western Maine Fish & Game Club changes meeting night

HARRISON — The Western Maine Fish & Game Club in Harrison has changed its monthly meeting night to be the third Tuesday of the month.

The next meeting will be Tuesday, May 12. The pot luck dinner will begin at 6 p.m. followed by the meeting at 6:30 p.m.

Anyone interested in joining the club may come to a meeting or contact the secretary.

Stephens High Class of 1951 to meet

MEXICO — Stephens High School Class of 1951 will hold its May luncheon at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, at the Covered Wagon, Main St., Mexico.

Dixfield Historical Society to meet

DIXFIELD — The Dixfield Historical Society will hold its first spring meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 14, at the Bradbury Chapel on the Canton Point Road.

A tour of the chapel will be given by teacher Art Chamberlin.

A short business meeting will also be held while there. Attendees are asked to wear warm clothing.

The public and new members are always welcome.

Mexico library to hold yard sale May 16

MEXICO — The Mexico Public Library will host a yard sale from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 16, at 134 Main St.

The library will sell items to include used books, videos and baked goods.

The library seeks community members to sell their own yard sale items. The cost to rent a table or space is $15 or $25 for two spaces. Vendors who supply a table will be charged $10 to rent a space. All money the vendor makes will go to the vendor. The deadline to sign up as a vendor is Wednesday, May 13.

Mexico High Class of 1959 to meet

RUMFORD — The Mexico High School Class of 1959 is invited to meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 14, at the House of Pizza, Congress Street.

Spouses and significant others are welcome.
