NORWAY — The Norway Farmers’ Market will open in Longley Square for the summer and run from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays. The first market will be be May 14.
Longley Square is located across from the Norway Opera House on the corner of Deering and Main Street. This will be the second year that the Market will occupy this space for the summer through October 2015.
Norway Farmers’ Market has been supporting local farmers in the area for 20 years now and continues to bring sustainably and organically grown, nutritious food to the community.
The Market will be opening with known and new farmers, producers and artisans.
Vendors include Lollipapa Farm, Stoneheart Farm, Herb N Dream, Clay Hill Farm, Harmony Farm, High View Farm, Cantrell’s Fish Market, Sweet Roots Farm and The Progress Center will once again be bringing beautiful wood products, all locally made.
New vendors are always being accepted. All information about being a member, along with an online application are available on their website.
The Norway Famers’ Market will be offering many events over the summer starting with a concert with Carolyn Costanzi & Friends. There will be a raffle with great prizes from places like the Oxford House in Fryeburg, Stone Mountain Arts, Storyland and more. The market will host kid’s events, ice cream socials, wood fired pizzas and much more.
