PARKMAN — One man is dead and another injured in an overnight incident in Piscataquis County, according to Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland.
McCausland said David Grant, 61, was found dead at his Packard Road home on Tuesday night. A second man, whose name was not disclosed, was seriously injured.
The spokesman said the second man is being treated in the intensive care unit at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.
Piscataquis County sheriff’s deputies and state police detectives responded to the residence late Tuesday night, and authorities remain at the scene Wednesday gathering evidence.
