SeniorsPlus to visit Fryeburg, Norway

FRYEBURG/NORWAY — SeniorsPlus will visit the Fryeburg and Norway town offices to answer any questions or concerns about services and resources for older adults and adults with disabilities and their families.

It will visit Fryeburg from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday, May 18.

And it will visit Norway from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 20.

SeniorsPlus seeking Medicare Advocates to serve in Franklin County

LEWISTON – SeniorsPlus is looking for volunteers in Franklin County to serve in their communities as a Medicare Counselor.

SeniorsPlus needs volunteers to meet with Medicare beneficiaries one-on-one to assist in Medicare enrollment, changing plans and understanding the basics of Medicare; as well as speaking to groups to help educate them about Medicare basics.

A three-day Medicare Basics Training is set for June in Farmington. Registration deadline is June 1.

Uptown Cruizahs Car Club to cruise May 18

OXFORD — The Uptown Cruizahs Car Club will hold its first cruise night of the year from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 18.

Cruises will be held weekly on Mondays, weather permitting, and will meet at Tractor Supply on Route 26 in Oxford.

Proceeds from these cruise nights and their show on Aug. 2 at New Balance Factory Outlet, Route 26, Oxford, benefit local charities like the activity fund at Maine Veterans’ Home and Santa Visits Oxford.
