1943 – 2015

AUBURN— Kathleen “Kitty” Cole Jones was born in Sanford on Sept. 12, 1943, the daughter of Charles and Jessie Cole. She married Ted Jones in 1984. They lived in Carrabassett Valley, where she painted Maine scenes in her art studio. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and animals. Her generosity was legendary, cutting her neighbors hair, sharing her maple syrup and pickled eggs.
