PARIS — An auction to benefit the family of Carol Farrar will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at the VFW Hall, 58 East Main St.
When this benefit was first organized Farrar, age 56, was still alive. She lost her life to stage 4 cancer on April 20.
According to her family and friends, Farrar was a very loving person that never would turn anyone away from her door. She had seven children, with two still at home, Brandon, age 15, with autism, and Brittany, age 11, with Down syndrome.
She also leaves behind Dana Mack, her mate of 16 years.
Farrar’s one wish was to see her two daughters from Texas. They were able to come and spend time with the family.
Farrar lived in South Paris most of her life.
Any donations will be accepted, such as money, gift certificates and new or used items in good condition.
