AUBURN — The YMCA of Auburn-Lewiston has announced its June programs for children and adults. All programs take place at 62 Turner St., with the exception of Camp Connor and Teen Leadership Camp.
Disney-themed Dance Camp: A new program at the Y, Dance Camp is led by Jessica Trammel. For ages 3–6 years. Weekly sessions available June 22 through Aug. 14.
Zumba: Runs twice a week for six weeks starting Monday, June 1. Free to Y members and $40 for nonmembers. Sign-ups are first come, first served, with a limit of 15 participants.
YMCA Fit Fest: The first in the Triple Crown 5k race series, the Y Fit Fest takes place Sunday, June 7. Runners can sign up at www.triplecrown5k.com.
Summer Camp Sign-Ups: Registration is open for Camp Connor, Y Kids Camp and Teen Leadership Camp. For children entering kindergarten through 10th grade. Sessions available June 22 through Aug. 21.
Youth Swim Lessons: Extended 10-week session June 22 through Aug. 29. Multiple days and times available.
Pickleball: A combination of ping pong, badminton and tennis, pickleball is a low-impact cardio sport for people of all ages. Every Friday, noon to 2 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m.
Group Exercise Classes: Multiple classes available, seven days a week, including Aqua Zumba in the pool. Visit www.alymca.org or visit the YMCA Welcome Center for a complete schedule.
