AUGUSTA — Would you like to put a stop to fraud and scams in Maine?
AARP Maine is hosting their first free Fraud Watch Network Scam Jam where people can learn about these common scams and how to avoid becoming a victim. Join AARP on Thursday, June 11th, at the Augusta Civic Center from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Attendees can look forward to hearing from Maine’s Attorney General, Janet Mills, along with the U.S. Postal Inspector, reps from the Bureau of Consumer Credit Protection, Office of Securities, and AARP Maine. Free breakfast and lunch are included.
